Removal of Conditions

If you were married for less than two years at the time you obtained your permanent residence by marriage, you received a two-year conditional green card.

​

In order for your residency not to be canceled and for you to receive your green card valid for ten years, you must file Form I-751 within 90 days prior to the expiration of your current card.

​

What documents do I need?
​

You must show that your marriage was in good faith, and not just to obtain immigration benefits.

​

  • Statements of your bank account.

  • Taxes.

  • Insurance Payments.

  • Shared accounts.

  • Rental contracts.

  • Birth certificate of a child.

  • Deed of purchase of a house.

  • Letters from friends and family
